As long as its not becchio no disrespect to the lad just would like a better calibre of forward!! What about Darren Bent? Would anyone have him up beside jelavic?
 
Well looking at Greg O'Keeffe's Twitter timeline, He thinks we'll sign a central midfielder and a striker at some point this week, reckons weve got deals in motion but wouldnt/couldnt give names.

Also said we was very close to signing M'Vila but Rubin blew us out of the water money wise when it came to fee and wages!. Said we was genuinely interested and in for him.

And when someone asked him about us only doing loan deals and sell to buy, he said we'll sign possibly 2 player without selling, and that we could do a permanent deal with a small down payment and then staggered payments over a number of years, like we was gonna with the M'Vila deal before Rubin came in and offered alot more?!.

So to me it sounds like weve got a fair little sum of money to possibly do a permanent deal and how Greg was talking that might just happen.

Greg didnt deny we could be looking at the French market with real seriousness in the coming week?!.

Also, there's been whisperings (apparently) over the weekend from down south that were interested in taking Faurlin on loan from Q.P.R. and talk of us wanting Bent on loan, but Greg wouldnt answer to any of those rumours/questions!. Did say this about Odjidja-Ofoe though - 'wouldn't rule it out last minute but not particularly likely'.

But by the sounds of it, the transfer window is gonna liven up for us Evertonians finally!

Is O'Keeffe like our official media guy? If so not very comfortable with him coming out with Blue bill balls every other week.
 

i just love the madness that will take place over the next few days.. its a pity we dont have the money to really improve the squad and push for top4 and a possible real run in the Fa cup but i still think we will add at least one player who will improve our side.. we are surely workin on a few deals nd at least one will come off..
 
If we sign one acceptable right wing player who isn't injury prone, i'll be happy. I don't ask for much, I just would like to be able to field a starting 11 without anyone playing grossly out of position or without anyone **** playing.
