What is the echo's track record like when it comes to reporting transfer rumours? They have us linked with Belhanda from Montpellier.

Now he's the kind of player we need, an attack minded, skillfull player to make things happen in the final third, but not at the 8-9 million euros he's been quoted to be available for.

If he doesnt go this window, then maybe he could be someone to look out for in the summer When Felli goes, him and Capoue!.

Or his team mate at Montpellier, Cabella?!.

The only issue is that he's agreed to go to Turkey (money grabbing - most likely). Shame cos' he's a very good player and would be a waste over there. However, Montpellier haven't agreed the fee with Fennerbache yet, so it could be on - if we had money.

I was just wondering what anybody's thoughts on Obraniak from Bordeux were - he's good on the ball and pretty decent at finding the right pass. He's got 6 assists and 4 goals so far this season. He's 28, but under contract until 2015 - so might cost around £5 mil. Could be a decent signing if we had the money, although there are better players out there.

Just read that Moussa Sissoko looks to be on his way to Newcastle, but his agent is trying to get him to a club "higher up the league".

The deal is a pre-contract freebie but Newcastle are looking to pay 1 million to bring him in now. He's a terrific midfielder and with us desperately needing that kind of player, surely we should be trying for him? We've got 1 million surely!

Cheaper alternative than both Capoue and M'Vila. Very good player, not as good as the other two though, however, for that price and the gashness we have at CM at the moment... Get it done Everton ffs.

Yep, THIS.

I'll reserve judgement until he's played behind Jelavic.

I think thats fair. He's been useless out wide I think most would agree, but would be interesting to see what he would be like behind the striker. I also thought Mirallas looked very, very dangerous on Monday behind the striker.

I'm not sure purchase price is our only problem in this window, it is wages and signing-on fees. The recent accounts show that our wage bill to turnover ratio is already very high and don't forget we will eventually have to abide by the UEFA financial fair play rules. Players approaching the end of contracts like this fella and Holtby will be demanding (or their agents will) the equivelant of what the fee would have been in wages and fees - don't think we have the headroom on the balance sheet to compete.

Toulouse chairman Olivier Sadran has suspended midfield star Moussa Sissoko over his ongoing row with the club over his future.

Sissoko is out of contract in the summer, and as a result has been in talks with a number of clubs about his future - with Newcastle leading the chase for his signature.

It is now believed that Newcastle are close to finalising a pre-contract for the player, who they want to sign this month.

However, with Toulouse demanding €3million to let the player leave - he looks unlikely to get his wish of a move.

The Pink City outfit are far from happy with Sissoko and he has now been suspended, which means he will not play in Wednesday's Coupe de France clash with Paris St Germain.

Toulouse coach Alain Casanova says everyone at the club is firmly behind the decision of the chairman.

"The whole club shows full solidarity to that chairman's decision," he told L'Equipe.

"It is really a shame a player educated at the club could leave as free agent. His absence is big loss for the team, but that decision is logical."

Can Moyes please play Naismith in his proper position.

FIXED.

Here we go again.... the Bilyaletdinov syndrome.

Regardless of playing position, he shouldn't be controlling the ball with his shins, have the pace of a slug and look knackered after 20mins.

We have enough money for a "couple of loans".
