Looking forward, what are your expectations for next season?

Me:

Big Signing. Just one, but it has to be an undie-stainer.

Good run in the Europa/Final appearance. Week night footy at Goodison rules.

An injury to main players free season. Every year for the last few we've ruined our season with key injuries.

An improvement on this year
 
We'll win the cup again
Everton in the hall of fame
Glory days here to stay
Moyeseys army, marchin down Wembley way
 

* jo will stay one more year on loan, giving forward options as jo, saha and yakubu.

* not selling any of the team.

* improving the right side to make it as impressive as the left. this means a replacement for hibbert and perhaps moving arteta out to the right.

* moving arteta out to the right will mean a player of genuine quality to play in the center. this is where i imagine the big money will be spent in the summer.



we have to aim high, so a top 4 finish has to be the target.

possible sacrifice of a uefa cup run to improve fitness levels for the league.... an early exit might be on the cards...

a good run in one of the domestic cups.
 
* No one will go, if anyone tries I'll clomp them over the head and back they'll come

* One big signing, be it Moutinho or, more likely, someone we hadn't considered we need a quality playmaker

* A Moyesy magic trick, at least one cheap player that turns out to be a big player for us

* a couple of frees and loans to fill out the squad

* 4th place

*Minimum Europa League Quarter finals

*FA Cup Semi minimum

* Carling Cup don't care

* Less disastrous injuries

All that and not to sell any key players.

Undie-stainer? someone who has some decent runs in them?:unsure:

Progress would do me:

More points than last season
Later stages of Europa, Carling, FA Cup
Signs that we are developing

What will be a massive kick in the nads would be for us to slip back and make no improvement at all.

Top four would be out of this earth as an achievement if we can do it, last season Arsenal were crap and still finished a mile ahead of us.
 

We need to step up to the next level, being best of the rest is nice, but we really need to push on and start biting at the heels of Arsenal who are starting to lag behind the pack.

Our home record needs improving and our away record against everyone 6 and below needs to improve.

Expectation: challenge the top 4, at least one decent cup run.

Hope: finish in the top 4 and win a cup.

I hope that hope trumps expectation, but expect that expectation will trump hope :blink:
 
Minimum to have me satisfied:

League: Top6 so we reach Europe again.
National Cups: At least one quarterfinal or better (alot depends on the draw)
International Cup: Last 16

Happy:

League: Top5
national Cups: One Semifinal at least
International Cup: Quarterfinal

Very Happy:

League: Top4 and Liverpool relegated
National Cup: One final or two semifinals
International Cup: Semifinal
