1886 Shirt

This is all I could find. From the book: EVERTON 100 seasons at the top VIRGIN BLUES, published 2003 by Skript Design & Publishing. ISBN 1-874799-17-2

The 1881 & 1883 photos in the book show the shirts with half colours each time (blue & white?)

The caption to the top photo is hilarious!!!

The second shows the very first goalscoring phenomenon in football, our very own Fred Geary.

EDIT: That lower photo could show the tops being quartered, as Mikey has shown, but the photos for 1881 & 1883 definitely show half/half. I can scan and post up if anyone wishes to se that page.

I think they were Cambridge blue and white. Essentially a very light blue.
