..I’m none the wiser but it makes a bit more sense.

You just lost all credibility with that one.10. Experienced international manager.
Yeah. But he won it.One hahahahahaha
What’s that? You just lost all credibility with that one.
Has anyone considered this job is his dream job? Money (alledgedly) good players, potential to compete once sorted out?
He won't be here long enough but perhaps he plans on having one last crack of getting somewhere before he does retire.
What in the holy heck is that reaction about mate?
I personally don't want Sam as our manager - if we appoint him I'll get over that.... but I make a point about 3 players returning that will improve our team enormously in terms of effort and application (wouldn't have thought this about McCarthy weeks ago but seeing the absolute lack of fight from Morgan he needs time out of the team) and you throw a hissy fit as a result?
I don't have any expectation that Sam should point to returning players improving us... but yes returning players will improve us - I don't understand how that is such an 'unbelievable' thing to say. And yes, if our form takes an upturn after this - Sam will get the credit, this annoys me but absolutely nowhere did I suggest that is was his responsibility to abdicate himself from any praise he gets - that was just an invention of yours.
Your analogy is also complete nonsense and I've no idea how it applies here - every manager takes over a team that has been built by someone else.
Again - I made one point about 3 returning players that will improve us, that is all. I wasn't suggesting that this is a reason not to sign up Sam - just pointing out something that is true that i find irritating.
Whilst you would like to think or perhaps hope players returning from injury will improve the team a long term lay off is far from easy to overcome and it’s highley likely one two indeed even all three won’t ever regain the form they had prior to their time out.
We have loads. Just can't make a team out of themGood players? Where are they?
We have loads. Just can't make a team out of them
Ah of course, but I'm not talking about form... I honestly do mean the application I would expect from those 3 players - they work hard. In our last 5/6 games almost every player on the pitch has been second to the ball in every 50-50.... this is not something I would expect with Coleman or McCarthy (ever) and from what I've watched of Bolasie he seems to be of the same ilk.
Also, I'd be willing to bet a large amount of money that Seamie's injury will not cause him to shy out of challenges etc.. (before anyone says it)
