12/13 Home Kit

Most sports brands use templates. Umbro did it to us in 2009. We had the exact same home and away kit designs as West Ham amongst others, look it up. People moaned that LCS were "rail fillers at Sports Direct" and that we should have got a bigger name like Nike or Adidas. Well this is what you get with them. The kits are still nice, who cares if it's a template if it's a nice one?

Gorgeous away kit with a unique design and a template home kit which is really nice too when they could have gave us the same one as Man Utd.

I usually reserve judgment until I see it "in action". Now having seen a bunch of video clips from the friendlies, I have to say that the stripe on the shorts is bothering me much more than the silly white stripe on the shirt.

I like the LCS stuff. I thought the materials and construction were quality. Wearing the gear in the states, its a little unique, as LCS has no presence here.

It might interest you guys to know that Nike isn't as highly regarded here as it seems it is in the UK. In the US, it can be viewed by some east and west coach elites as being a bit of a middle-america white trash brand, or just a brand that kids wear. It's not really viewed as a high end performance oriented brand. This is clearly not true for all their stuff, and a lot of people may disagree, but Nike is looked down upon in some circles. Their footwear in particular is viewed by me and many others as being all style, no substance. If you want serious running shoes or soccer cleats (sorry, football boots), you don't buy Nike. It's ok for your 8 year old, and Jeb from Kentucky thinks he is the cat's meow when he wears them, but not a lot of people I know wear Nike.

who else has got there home shirt? I got mine through the post and found that it looks well better if you fold the white bands up, but i'm considering keeping the receipt and exchanging it for the long sleeve shirt because with the sleeves down it looks horrible.

Mine arrived yesterday (long sleeves) and I love it. Definitely overpriced but sod it, it's class.

We want Coq, We want Coq, We want Coq! As much as I really want the Nike home long-sleeve, I was kind of looking forward to seeing what LCS would serve up this year. Because, IMO, they were just warming up.

I might buy the long sleeve when it goes bargain basement.
