no, he's just having a laugh... and it does sound a bit paedoey without knowing the context of it. seen everton fans post the quote on a few other places before as well and the general reaction from non evertonians is to take the piss.

garaunteed we would take the piss if liverpool fans went round saying it.
 
Just watched highlights of the Stoke Sunderland game. We will need to be on our mettle to collect three points. Hope RM is killing any over confidence

And to be honest, I cringe more when I hear The People's Club. When the RS won the CL, I took a bus from Penny Lane to the Pier Head and the roads were jammed full of reds. Moyes got a lot of brownie points for that statement but I think we all know there is a ton of reds in the city. JUst cos town is rammed with norwegians on match day shouldnt detract from that. yes peoples club makes me cringe as well, bit like when people say there are no united fans in manchester... it's just a lie, there are tons.
