“Fans” that won’t support us if we get Allardyce

So you've whinged about Allardyce massively, backtracked a little, then spent the day slating fans who still hold reservations.

And you've been shown up (again) for the tremendous hypocrite that you are.

Post after post after post. There's even more

You didn't have the courage to stick by your own convictions, so you've cowardly lambasted those that did.

Hung right round your neck...

That's brutal work there mein frandel.

That's brutal work there frandel.

I have no issue at all with people who supported Sam from the off and continue to do so, perhaps even feeling a sense of vindication.

I can also respect there are good blues who find him utterly unpalatable and have continued to either show or voice their displeasure.

I don't really understand people doing a full 180 and 'revisiting' their opinion already, but to each his own.

What I do not get in the slightest is the invertebrates who spent days slating Allardyce and his potential appointment, putting a quick caveat in when he was appointed, then having the most brazen hypocrisy to slate fans who have maintained their views. If we'd lost a couple of games, you can 100% guarantee these cowards would have been riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight in there sticking the boot in to Allardyce. And these are the ones saying what 'proper' fans should do.

So you were quite happy going when Pienaar the ALLEGED multiple time woman beater, or Wayne Rooney the drink driver were playing, but Allardyce is the last straw ?

Bizarre moral compass.

Or Duncan doing time for GBH on a football field.

In Sam's defence , he was set up, Pienaar, Rooney, Dunc, et al, weren't.

Totally agree mate.

Perhaps we should review after we’ve played the top 4 or so; the litmus test I’d say for Sam.

As it is for any manager outside the top 4, not just ours.

Lets see how Jose sets Utd up against City, Chelsea,RS, Arsenal, Spurs.

It won't be much different than every other team outside the top 4 believe me.

You didn't have the courage to stick by your own convictions, so you've cowardly lambasted those that did. And you also think you have the right to judge a 'proper' fan.

Hung right round your neck...

Orly......Confucius once said, to a fellow digging himself deeper into a hole of his own foolishness, lay down your spade.

Heed those wise words ;)

And that's all you have, with your hypocrisy and cowardice there for all to see. You didn't have enough courage in your own convictions so you slate good fans that did.

You look dreadfully foolish.

Brian Clough was one of the biggest crooks in the game, would people have boycotted the game if he'd been appointed in the 70's, or are successful crooks acceptable?

As that other well known alleged crook, Arry Redknapp, once remarked about transfer dealings with the Forest maestro........”Cloughie likes a bung....”....:pint2:

Backwards from Koeman? Backwards from Martinez? Both had big flaws.

It's more a case of backwards as a whole from where we was at the start of the season, £140m spent in the Summer, coming off the back of a good first season for Koeman, talk of challenging for a top 6 place, thoughts of having a good chance of a Europa league run, instead we find ourselves where we are now, gash, and a hoof ball merchant in charge.

...Allardyce can only work with what he’s got. He can’t transform us into Barcelona overnight. What i’m most impressed with is his post-match analysis because he says the team are poor in possession and need to offer more threat. He appears to want what we want.

I also think Shakespeare (in particular) and Walsh will have a major influence on the way we play going forward. I suspect that’s why Allardyce wanted his backroom people on board. Like any senior manager, he’ll only be as good as those who work for him. I don’t think it’s a coincidence he’s connected to Shakespeare throughout games.

The stereotypical view of Allardyce teams might not be appropriate here. Time will tell.

At last................ some sense. Thank you Eggs.

And you look dreadfully rattled :(

That is the problem with you keyboard warriors.

You are too thick skinned to accept gracefully the fact the fellow you tried to belittle has turned your words back on you.

Again.

But hey.....this is a thread about Sam Allardyce, don’t be making it about me by going off topic with childish insults.

Remember him....manager of Everton :)

I am sure you are as delighted as I am that he has very quickly got Everton into a much happier place than we were a mere month ago.

What a start Sam has made.

COYBB ;)
