“Fans” that won’t support us if we get Allardyce

Who claimed they wouldn't watch?

There's the rub. I support Everton, always have, always will. I'll watch on the box or the net, but I won't go whilst he is there. As oft stated, it is not about his football but about the man himself.

People will make me (and others) out to be some sort of internet warrior but I am perfectly happy with my own actions and my own conscience. It is SFA to do with anyone else. Can't say I am not missing going to the game, because it is a huge wrench and I know the only person suffering is me.

I still won't go until he is gone, along with his acolytes.

I don’t like him. I don’t want him at the club. Won’t stop me going to the game, as I support Everton, doesn’t mean I have to support the manager though. I won’t get behind him.

Why should fans have to be happy with every appointment the club that we love makes? Doesn’t make us social justice warriors or anything, just shows we have opinions and a voice.

You make the guy sound like a convicted paedophile or murderer.

The newspaper sting incident was hardly the end of the world. He appeared to say that he would help the fake company director get around some obscure FA rule in return for financial remuneration, but that's not exactly a hanging offence.

So you were quite happy going when Pienaar the ALLEGED multiple time woman beater, or Wayne Rooney the drink driver were playing, but Allardyce is the last straw ?

Bizarre moral compass.

Yeah but they weren't FAT CROOKS mate. Big Sam doesn't represent our wonderful club's wholesome family values, it's a disgrace

Am I a great person yet?

I wonder if the people who give up going to the game while Allardyce is here because of his character did the same in the sixties (if old enough)? Harry Catterick was one bad ted.

I take my hat off to you mate, I realise it is so hard to give up doing something you love because of someone else. I have eaten plenty
of 'Humble Pie' when it's not even my fault. You are principled, so be proud of it. I honestly think you won't have to wait long for ' Sams
replacements' as without the 44th minute penalty I felt we were headed toward the early seasons results.

Bye.

Don't hurry back, we're certainly not missing you.
And be careful not to fall off that high horse.

As Evertonians I think the least we expect is to beat the lesser teams and put in a decent shift against the top teams, this is exactly what we have done so far. He might not be everyones cup of tea, but you can't fault what he is delivering at the mo. If he gets us in to the top 6/7, then after the start we've had, this is a serious result and well done to him.

Also, I just have a feeling that we might win a cup under him, whether it be this season or next.

get a grip mate. There are far worse people out there in football let alone the rest of the world.

If that documentary is true then all it showed was an easy temptation to make a few quid on the side. That's hardly crime of the century.

I'm not saying I condone it but I can't stand this holier than thou approach.

As I’ve written before, Tim, it’s seen by most, at best, as a ‘comedy’ appointment, and at worst ‘desperation’ , especially as it was still only November when the board started to flap.

For our sakes, I hope he achieves, but none of us surely can say it’s the proudest chapter in our history; and his body language betrays this.

Give me the 13 points from 15, winning games and not getting humiliated since he was officially appointed manager over the embarrassing defeats in Europe and hammerings we took in the league under the last 2 managers - former European Cup winner Ronald Koeman and David 'bleeds blue' Unsworth.
