“Fans” that won’t support us if we get Allardyce

And I'll take you back to the point you agreed with about supporting Everton and going to the game are two different things completely. I may decide to boycott the matches whilst Allardyce is in charge, but that doesn't mean that I still don't want us to win every game.

Sometimes, the club do things that annoy me so much I wish I could just walk away like some plastic supporter, but I can't. Everton are almost like a religion to me, like they are to most of us. A religion that has delivered far more pain than joy over the years if I'm honest.

At the moment, part of me is thinking that, once Allardyce is appointed, supporters like you, who believe it's acceptable to take the moral high ground and judge other fans, will deserve everything that comes your way. But I know that feeling won't last long as Allardyce failing will probably mean Everton getting relegated, and that will break my heart. I can only hope that the man doesn't stay long enough to do too much lasting damage.
Your still missing my point. I’ll try to make it more clear:

Bob: I’m not going to support Everton anymore.
Kevin: Bob doesn’t support Everton anymore.
Stan: HOW DARE YOU ACCUSE BOB OF NOT SUPPORTING EVERTON?!...

I've a feeling most would still be "bricking it" if West Ham had no manager.

mate i have seen west ham play a couple of times this season, they looked every bit as bad or worse than us before getting shut of bilic, now they have a new manager not a lame duck caretaker though, and it's given them a bit more purpose.

As this league shows you you seriously don't need much special to turn around a crap set of players, saw someone mentioning that they have no idea how 16 other teams this season will survive without hiring sam allardyce as manger, and its laughably true

Martinez managed to keep wigan up for years, bruce has managed to keep awful teams up, same with Hughes, Paolo di canio kept a shockingly bad Sunderland team up, john Carver kept a woeful Newcastle side up

Yet we are thinking that only BFS can save us - it's laughable really

So your choice would be...?

Fonseca, Dyce out of the more realsitic shouts as Silva looks a no go.

i'd even take Houghton or Pulis (sick in throat) ahead of allardyce mate
I'd doubt looking at the situation we are in with the players we have that either Dyce or Houghton would leave what are looking like successsful projects to join our sinking ship.Pulis and Allardyce are two peas in a pod.Allerdyce has pulled off two recent revivals so just shades it.Fonseca would be a huge gamble. Is it a gamble we can afford to lose is the question.

6 December Champions League Shakhtar Donetsk v Manchester City

Do you think Fonseca will prefer the prospect of the Championship instead of the Champions League?

And I haven't heard that Dyche is knocking on the door either.

get behind the team not the manager, simple as that. if the manager turns results around then cool but if he don't we still have to give our best to the team reguardless. shout crap at the team wont make them any better

Really surprised at the depth of anti-Sam feeling.

Do people not realize that the team is going down unless things change? Sam knows exactly what to do save a team. When a house is on fire
you call a fireman and Sam is the best fireman around.

Yes, Sam likes brown envelopes and that aspect needs attention and close control but when you compare him to O'Neil, for example, he is the clear winner. As for the bloke from Benefica- he would be great as a summer signing - but we are in an emergency and decisions have to be made now. The Koeman legacy is so putrid it will take a tough old nut like Sam two or three years to sort it.

There's no 'project' at Burnley. They are at the pinnacle currently in terms of where they can get to as a club, and the only way is down. I don't mean to be disrespectful saying that, simply that the infrastructure, finances and support aren't there for Burnley to become a superpower. I would put good money on it that Dyche would jump while his stock is high rather than wait for it to slump when Burnley return to 10th-15th and eventually he gets relegated and nobody wants him anymore.

Right now we can be picky as this team is in free fall, he guarantee’s premier league football so we have to hold our nose I suppose.
I wish people would stop using that Phrase of guarantee to stay up, everyone's luck runs out eventually, every team that has hovered over the trap door eventually went through it, he may give us a better chance but it's definitely

Yes remember than all fires don't get put out all the time before the building burns down, his luck at some stage is going to run out
