Match Thread Everton 2-0 Southampton. Sun May 18th. 12 pm

I'm sure we beat Soton 8-0 the last game of the season a few years ago, it sent them into Div 2. On the same day our forward-line scored 5 goals (All of them) but my memory IS going, please bear with me.

Lampard appointed head coach of Coventry

Frank is a nice guy, and I will always love him for the way he spoke to Klopp on the side-line.

Is Wayne Rooney an Everton Legend

The legends: DEAN , YOUNG & ROONEY. I saw all three of them on the centre spot, Dean to kick off 60s game for his testimonial

    2024/25 Beto

I think Beto is marvellous. He is the only centre forward who can muscle his way through a whole defence and still come up with the ball, sadly his finishing is about as good as DCL, I'd keep Beto for his heart . The last centre forward to take control of the ball from our defence was ' The...

    2024/25 Iliman Ndiaye

That goal against City was superb, I can only think of my names sake getting his foot round that cross. DCL, Gerrard or Salah would have hit the corner-flag.

One image to always remind you of Goodison.....

My very first thought after Alex got the only goal that day, and as you say that in the back ground Goodison road stand an hour after the whistle were giving Royston the ' temporary' league title trophy. What a memory, my favourite ground and 2 favourite players (Alex & Roy) Thanks for that Dario.

    2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Are you sure it's not your glasses, mate? As far as I'm concerned it's 70 years going back to before Dave Hickson and I can't remember a worse c/f during that time.

    Confirmed Signing Armando Broja

I don't have a clue about some of our summer signings, but Broja will be like signing Andy Gray to Kendal with a few years more. What a lift for us! COYB.

    Our Goodison Photographs

What a wonderful photo: we should take all these fans en bloc and knock on the doors of the Prem League in London and ask politely, what the hell do you want from us. I'll leave you with your own question.

Most talented player we've had in the PL era?

If the prem went back to WW11, then the player would be The Golden Vision. And if the player went back to WW1 then it would be Dixie. Anyone prior to Dixie could only be GOD.
