I see the club are planning to return money for games not played this season. Don't know about everyone else, we all have different circumstances, me I'm of the opinion that the money has been spent and perhaps the club could give each season ticket holders the opportunity to donate the money...

I think we're all sick of the whole situation but we're dealing with something that has been in evolution for millions of years. To expect a solution within a few months whilst desirable it's unreasonable, unless you're Donald Trump. However because we've developed vaccines for similar viruses...

They are of course looking at treatments, and the hope is that a combination of existing drugs can accelerate the return to 'normal'. A fully trialed vaccine as you were referring to takes far longer to develop.

Erm sorry if I've missed something in your post but isn't a vaccine developed to prevent infection, so no point in trialing it on those who are already infected.

Which just goes to show how poor the quality of the Premier league was. I know I was at the game but for the life of me I couldn't remember any of it, however it was Boxing day which might explain my total amnesia :pint2:

Watched it with my 16 year old. He was shocked how poor the game was and Sunderland were 3rd going into the game...... So you see all you young 'uns it wasn't all so great in the good old days.

I remember his first few games, took wicked, dangerous corners. We soon coached that nonsense out of him, he was soon unable to beat the first man ;)

Interesting watching the Sunderland game on Everton's YouTube channel last night from 1999, not a single overseas player in our starting 11. This just emphasises how difficult for homegrown players to break through in the current era.
