I'd be staggered if simms has any involvement in 1st team any time soon barring a massive injury crisis not just potentially James out and Richarlison suspended.

Well Carlo played Branthwaite with less experience in a much more vital position. I don’t think he’ll get a squad place this weekend but we’d be foolish not to prepare him for coming on for say last 10 mins or for a DCL injury . If he’s not played Gordon recently I can’t see him covering the 9 spot , which leaves Simms.

We'd play with no striker if DCL picked up an injury (touch wood it doesn't happen) in next 3 games rather than simms imo.
He might make the bench though.
