End of the day, regardless of my own politics and dislike for Reform personally, it’s pretty mental for a high net-worth international business (which is a potential PL football club these days) to tie yourselves to a political brand - but especially a very divisive one.
With TV revenue, you have to think of them as a 100-200m+ turnover business with hundreds of staff - then ask yourself if other businesses in other industries would ever be this stupid. Are you seeing huge consultancies or law firms or consumer companies like Hotel Chocolate (roughly the same size) ever being so explicit about their politics all over social media and alienating potential customers like this!
Why put off international fans, sponsors etc.
