Osman was underrated in my opinion, a good technical footballer who gave very consistent performances. Wish we could have played him in the middle more forms as he was better there than on the right.
Here's the thing, you only get one player that reflects Moyes's managerial career. So give it a bash. I'm sticking with Phil Neville.
Very good technical footballer who just lacked a yard of pace. Agreed miles better in the middle. Think that serious injury he had after the fa youth cup set him back tbh.
Yeah it was a good squad, Bally who was in the first team at that time so wasn't playing in the youth cup, was saying that Kendall and then Royle both improved the youth set up and of course the legendary Colin Harvey was the coach of that team as well. From what I recall he mentioned Milligan and O'Brien as players who could've stepped up at the time.
Scored 58 goals for us according to the Toffeeweb archive. Better than some of our more recent strikers could ever hope to do.
