2025/26 Jack Grealish

Might be a controversial opinion but as much as I'm loving having him this season, I wouldn't sign him if the price tag is 30m+ at end of season.

His age and wages just wouldn't make sense to me. Would be 31 pretty much going into next season.

If some magic could be worked on a fee then I think he'd be a great add even just for team spirit and compatibility with the way we looking to play under Moyes.

You're going to be paying the same price for someone not near his quality. Even if you did find one at a younger age... sadly he'd have more favourable suitors than us.

Think wage wise he'll take a drop from the £300k a week he's on. We'd be silly not to make it perm if all parties are happy.

Getting European football next season could be so important for us as it’ll mean we may be able to much more realistically afford him and build. We all know the price tag and age situation, but he’s Jack Grealish, and that alone is worth its weight in gold. He’s a ceiling raiser, a talisman, a marketing teams dream, a guy that everyone in the squad rallies around.

I’d love him to stay with us, as you say, we just need to find a way to make it realistic for us to do so.

Super Jack

Age isn’t a problem because he isn’t a player who relies on pace, it’s about skill and technique with him. Agree on the fee and wages though, would pay £30m and he would have to drop to half of what he is on at Man city.

Signing him would be a no brainer.

You get Jacks signature
You gain a bigger appeal straight away.

But Jack needs to be convinced we can utilise that appeal, he needs players on his wavelength.

Sell him the project, his name will help speed that up.

On a computer game that might work as they said HD stadium would ,they move for the money and then the prizes and we can not compete with either
.In real life his wages could be spent on three other players coming for "free" ,there is no way City will give us him the way he has played this season ,given the fee must be at the top of what we will be able to spend with the number of players needed it is hard to see a solution ,great player he is .

15 mill completion fee, 125k a week. 3 year deal...

All parties happy....

Doesn't rely on pace so dont have to worry about his legs going....

Good egg and seems great for morale.....

Ideal player to mentor dibling

City will want him off there books.

Cant see Jack wanting out of the premiership or chasing saudi money.

Champions league clubs wont see the appeal in age/pace.

If he's staying in england it will be clubs around our level looking at him.

Take away Brighton, Bournemouth, Brentford and possibly palace as a no future profit player.

As good as he is, we are more of an attractive appeal than it might seem.

He just needs a positive project, good players and fan love.
