2025/26 Jack Grealish

he is crying out for an attacking LB , to make space for him and an option for a pass. Micky does his best but he ain't no Leighton Baines.
Can you imagine prime Baines playing with Grealish? Teams would be torn aside.
Mykolenko does his best but bloody hell. Seeing him fluff up a pass, barely able to throw a ball and being out of position with Grealish is maddening.

….i think he was managing the situation, knowing a lot of water will pass under the bridge before the end of the season.

It’ll be post world-cup, nobody will pay his transfer fee, he’ll be touching 31, I reckon he’ll go where he wants to enjoy his football. It might even be another loan but I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s playing here next season.

I wouldn't rule it out. He'll probably be looking to see if Guardiola is still at City next season.

Myko is at least overlapping more now, but Grealish refuses to give him the ball unless there are no other options.

I don’t blame him to be honest, and the run from Myko at least occupies the opposing RB to give Grealish a little more space.
Grealish was a bit peed of with him last night, wanted to take a quick throw in and Myko was just strolling towards him with his head down ffs.

Listening to his post match interview last night it came across loud and clear he still sees himself at another club - whether that's City or another CL playing club.

Tbh, I dont blame him. He has a great talent and he's not a fan of this club, so no matter how much he likes being here he wont want to lose anymore time getting back among the trophies and the England camp.

Your brain has very obviously taken leave of absence again, along with your hearing.

More Leighton Rees.

I hate our approach to these ‘long throws’. We aren’t good at it, so just get on and play football!

….i posted during the match that i wasn’t keen on our CB taking a long throw to the other CB in the box. Very difficult to regroup and regain positions from a quick break. It’d be more understandable if O’Brien’s throws were effective but they carry little or no threat.

More understandable while JoB was RB, but even so it’s needs binning.
