Saw that myselfSeem very good for morale round the camp too.
Posted in the club media thread yesterday there a bit where he gets a water bottle from one of the staff before kick off - only to spray it on the lads shorts so he’d look like he’d wet himself
Done him up like a kipper.
The fee sounds about right and I hope there is at least a grain of truth to the story.Read on social media yesterday that we are looking to finalise a deal for Jack in January... circa 30m.
Any further about this or standard clickbait.
It will all come down to wages, and what he will accept. The fee sounds about right and I hope there is at least a grain of truth to the story.
You'd have to assume the lad is well aware we can't pay city level wages, so it will come down to how happy he isIt will all come down to wages, and what he will accept.
City will want him off their books, so a reasonable offer wont be ignored.
It's what Jack is willing to accept in wages. We cant go offering him an amount that we than cant replicate with others..
Wages won’t come into it, we’ll pay him a good wage and he’ll be happy. He’s made his money and he’s very happy here. There will be some kind of bonus top up. Aside from sacking Moyes I don’t see any other reason why he doesn’t sign.It will all come down to wages, and what he will accept.

£30mil for 3 years seems quite high to me. Granted we paid £15mil for this loan but 3 years has so much downside risk due to his age & wear and tear.
Also of course no resale. I'd be looking at £15mil or max £20mil as the fee.
A deal in January would be insane btw. What if he gets a serious injury? The deal would need to be done end of the season.
