2025/26 Tyler Dibling

….not sure what the discussion is here but it’s quite simple for me.

Moyes will have sanctioned the deal to bring Dibling to Everton, we can be sure of that. Moyes will have thought he’d be a useful acquisition, I’d be sure he’d have expected to use him more but he hasn’t because Dibling has disappointed. Simples.

Not sure what else needs to be said except the lad will play more when he starts positively impacting games. Nobody’s fault, only time will tell if it’s a good deal or not. Fingers crossed.

The other part to this is that Dibling plays in a position where our best two players play, both of which have been in great form this season. He'd have to be pretty special in training to be getting minutes over Ndiaye and Grealish

Disagree somewhat, you can't develop young players like that. Like you can't be saying to young players you'll only get minutes if you show in training that you're better than the established starter in your position.

Feels like he's been around for ages now, obviously cos he left pretty young and been at a few clubs now.

Dibling played through the middle, basically the furthest man forward when he came on.

Maybe Moyes needs to have a look

England had alot of possession but no real cutting edge all game.

Dibling seemed to be a victim of that and aside from a tasty ball in the 87th minute that was a touch high, he was seeing long clearances or just watching others running with the ball, selfishly when passes were on.

He did hold the line well but also drifted to the right and a bit deeper for the ball to the edge of the box.

Still think he'll end up as a 10 in a couple of seasons.

Absolutely shocking weather in Birmingham, I think they even had to cancel the turning on the christmas lights it was that bad.

Yeah not a great game to watch and the lack of time playing with us is now playing its part with England, though that is natural.

Carsley definitely likes the lad though.

Yep, but at the same time when you don't drop your best players to give a kid minutes unless you're in a privileged position. The best Dibling could have hoped for at this point would have been more minutes off the bench

Oh yeah absolutely, I mean sub minutes, not as a starter. But 65 minutes in the league so far is a bit of a joke.

My one caveat is if it's a psychological thing and he just needs more time to settle and adjust, I think that's fine. But if he's chomping at the bit to get out there and Moyes simply doesn't trust him, that's criminal really.

….remember when you said Chermiti would be our future no10

No grandiose predictions, I’m sure we’ll all just be delighted if Dibling turns out to be a good piece of business.
