There’s no way we sign Grealish. Even on loan. He’ll end up at Napoli or back at Villa. They have European football to offer.
Thank Christ, the guy's awful. Work rate, assists...nothing. Swerve.

It is early days though, we haven't played anyone good yet - and if he gets a knock and we sit - our neglectful summer of business in defence will be obvious. That's not on Jack, obviously. We need to ook after him is all and keep our fingers crossed.
Moyes 'he's better than I thought' statement was good in a way. A bit clunky like Moyes can be at times, but a thing he did pick-up on which I think is spot on is the
effect Jack will have on other players. Dwight, Ndiaye, Dibling, Alcaraz, can all improve, learning from how Jack's carrying the ball forward and finding space. Albeit Ndiaye and Jack do an equally decent job of that ( I think Ndiaye's contribution last year was similar TBH, just had even less of a team around him).
But Jack is lifting the team, I've been surprised by how much. Great to see Garner being a nuisance around the box, Gana shouldn't be allowed to shoot, ever. And Barry and Beto will link-up better with more match time.
We'll need that step-up in belief and play from the others if/when ever Jack's rested or whatever. Lack of Europe won't hurt either this year if it means a tilt at one of the cups. But push come to shove, I'd take Jack fit for a season, and top half, over a cup run. That's not defeatism - just being rational on how 'kin thin our squad is!
