It is for us mate.

Especially when weve needed a RB since 1937 and a midfielder who can run the midfield for us.

I personally think its a putrid signing and the only one this summer where i have gone ffs.
He will get the odd goal but 90% of the time we will all be screaming at him.

We need someone to comfortable and confident to get the ball of the CBs to start attacks, he isnt that but for me thats exactly what we need.

Well currently I wouldnt even say we are linked, so its not worth worrying about, yet.

He is actually fairly limited.
And if used defensively it negates his outstanding attribute , the ability to score goals.
If you use him to go up for corners , someone has to drop and cover his defensive responsibilities due to his poor mobility.

Firstly, I am not his biggest fan, but wrote I was positive to signing him if we changed to playing with a three man midifield.

By well rounded I mean that he can play/has played as 6, 8 and 10. He can do a job both when we are chasing goals and when we are defending a lead. He can be useful when we 35% possession and when we have 60% possession.

If we have a pool of midfielders incl. KDH, Garner, Gane, Soucek, Iroegbunam and Armstrong, a combination of any three of them will be a massiv upgrade of what we've had this season. And it will give us options to make proper changes during matches.

Football is changing into a squad game. More often than not 5 of the 6 most offensive players will be substituted during the game. We need a squad good enough to allow us to use 5 per match. And Soucek would offer us something we don't have.

Regarding your comments about his mobility; you've clearly not watched him play.

You’re right, currently we have midfielders who have a useful role in the middle third and Soucek would offer something new as a midfielder who does not do that.

Yes and that’s why the Grealish thing also needs for him to be really good on the field. But it’s a little different because he’s Grealish and Soucek is Soucek.
