Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Id like to have Armstrong around but it probably makes the most sense to send him out on loan to play every week.
Why someone or two get injured & he is there he will learn more from playing cameos & cup ties than wasting him out on loan to get kicked to bits!
Unless he goes to a team in Europe like Braithwaite did... we have a talent raw maybe sitting there save on wages etc ....

Considering how long our physicals take pre-deadline, it's amazing we have ever completed deadline day deals in the past.
To be fair that does seem to have reduced recently, I was very impressed with Dibling’s being done in one morning😂 must be TFG being keen to get signings announced

I think he’s talking actual right backs. We’ve got about 20 players that can play there technically. But we don’t have any actual right backs, that could play more than 2 games without injury that is
Patterson and Coleman are both RB's. Garner and O'Brien have both played RB on numerous occasions. I can only think of Keeper where we have 4 players for one role.

Did you actually ever watch him play? He did a decent job for us and was part of the transition from us being relegation fodder to a more solid team. Worked hard, good in the air, helped his fullback out. Stat bros obviously won't understand the nuances have probably never participated in any team sport in their lives.
I seemed to watch him play for an eternity such was his laborious style. I'm not a stat bro, I understand they only have a limited value, but the stats back up what I saw with my eyes which is that he wasn't very good at anything. Nice fella, bad footballer. The fact that nobody can say anything better about him than he worked hard says a lot. Hard work should be a minimum requirement.

Anyway this is the transfer thread, not the was Kilbane rubbish or slightly better than rubbish thread. Sign someone better than Kilbane, Kinnear.

There's two, with cover in both Garner and O'Brien. Ironically, there is no other position covered as well as RB.
Covered as well? I'm not sure a perma crocked and sub-standard Patterson and an OAP who has played a full ninety twice since the start of last season (one of which was against league one opposition) is "well covered".
