2025/26 Harrison Armstrong

Not saying he was bad and I get he's young but nothing onset the pulse racing that's all

Are there any 6's that do set your "pulse racing"?

He was basically their best player in all but one or two games that I watched.

Great positioning, ball recycling and trusted.

If that's the case then he should go out on loan. I reckon Moyes will be honest with him about his chances in the first team. The problem is the line needs to be drawn somewhere. A player can't go from a regular in the championship on loan to being first choice in the PL when he comes back, it's a different level. They need to be squad players first unless its a PL team he gets a loan to, like Baines.

Kroupi Jr the 18 year old lad Bournemouth bought tore up the French 2nd division on loan and now he's with the Bournemouth squad as a squad player for the season. Seems like the right pathway, but as you say, depends on the manager too
I basically agree with you about the pathway but I just don’t think Moyes is that type of manager. I mean he kicked Barclay into touch after making a mistake in a game and put him on loan to Neil Warnock FFS. I was chatting about Armstrong at the end of last season with my mate and I just said send him back to Derby because Moyes won’t give him a look in. I think the lads a real talent and I don’t want him wasting his time with us this season.

Playing well, greed aside.
Sometimes you need to be greedy. If he tried to square it and fluffed we would be saying he should have been brave. Good on him for some attacking intent that we are lacking. No one else looks like they can score. And yes he's a young lad and will learn!

Yeh I don’t mind someone going for it. You’d hope given the same scenario 5 times he squares it 3-4 times.
