Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I'll be happy regardless lol but in terms of Everton id say to do well this season and not just scrape on by we need a RB , CM , LB , ST , squad options of a good quality and some pace .

I think without those we will struggle heavily at times.
I'm not against you there, but we have to be realistic about what we can achieve in a window.

I can't guarantee you much, but I can guarantee that we will have to scrape by at times this season, as pretty much every team who isn't called Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea or Man City will also have to. Building an elite squad with quality or even depth in every position takes years.

Under current circumstances I think we definitely need CDM and RB for depth if not first team starting

But imo the other positions are probably nice to have. Tbh in an ideal world id like us to replace Tarkowski, Beto, Mykolenko, McNeill and a fair few others, to have a champions league challenging team. But in reality, they'll suffice for us for the next few years, while we build

They binned him off as a PSR pawn. Probs doesn’t look back on them too fondly.
Players get a whole new attitude when they're suddenly top man on top money somewhere. Apparently he's 21. To much expected early on. Strong runner. Dumped Gana on his backside yesterday and they both saw the funny side when Minteh went to help him up. Not many do that to the Gueye-ster.

Would love if we got a real spiritual leader in the middle of the park, a player to drive us on, that hates losing and knows how to lift the team and the crowd.

We are definitely in the market for a centre-forward, someone a little more experienced and direct than both Beto and Tez Baz. A few names will be dominating the transfer rumours this next few days with us, definitely Newcastle and a few others all needing a goal-scorer.

My tuppence worth is these fellas will be those names:

(Almost) Elite - Ivan Toney. I expect Utd, Spurs, Newcastle, Villa and possibly us will have enquired. When Moyes said “ we’ve tried for some really top players” I reckon Toney would have been one of them. Needs to be back in the EPL if he has any hope of getting in the World Cup squad.

Probably most likely level for us at this stage would be Mitrovic.

And lower level but reasonable Rasmus Hojland.

That said, most likely Mikael Antonio.
