It's incorrect and outdated as under Moyes we have played some decent stuff. Though tbf, me and quite a few other people pointed out at the time that Dyche and our association with him and his football was going to alter players and agents perception of Everton as a club.

This is the season we try and change that a bit - not going to be instant.

I'll be honest mate, I still think we have an interest in buying him. No idea how we'd fit them all in mind but don't think we've gone away from the chance if the players agent changes their mind.

I’m not sure some of you understand what’s missing in our midfield because it’s neither of them.

Looking at some of the names thrown out about a month ago you can see the sort of player.

Alcaraz and lopy both seemed the sort to win the ball deep and then ping it to the wings.

That kind of player would be perfect I reckon.

Just read the bobbles article there and he’s said Everton have spoken to Juanlu Sanchez this week but still set on Napoli. He also said Everton see him as a midfielder, more than a RB/RW. Obviously be a great addition but seems it will only happen if Napoli walk away.

He also states that Brownhill is one Everton have looked at but he wants massive wages, pretty sure he said on a podcast, Brownhill wants around £85k per week.

That wage demand will come down the closer it gets to deadline day...

Longer it goes, longer it takes him to be match fit....

I'd stomach 40-50k given the premium of not having to pay a transfer fee..

He'd very much be a short term stop gap for what we're trying to do

Nuts, absolutely nuts. Wouldn't even want him for half of that.
