no pessimism from me. this has been the most excited i’ve been about the club
for a while

Crumbs. I know we have a shiny new stadium and bought a couple of players for the first time in ages but I find it hard to be excited when we have absolutely no right hand side to the team, no established goalscorer and have Keane starting at CB.

Moyes clearly thinks he has enough at RB for this season and wants to spend funds elsewhere. Noteable that our only move was for Tete on a free.

the drop off from Gana is huge when it comes to reading the game and intercepting etc. That will be his main role

He played further forward in one preseason in a sort of Doucoure role and i thought he was better but he won't be playing there and the responsibility is different. Might come good, but I've not been too impressed with him as a surrogate for Gana

Don’t know why Liverpool even bothered putting a buy back in for Bournemouth. Bournemouth would have sold him back to them for about 2 mill anyway whilst simultaneously buying their next piece of deadwood off them for 20 mill. LFC feeder club.

Lewis is not physically built for Premier League football, his presence in City’s team last season was a big reason for their downturn. Teams targeted his area of the pitch and physically bullied him, he’d be exposed badly in a team that doesn’t have 70% of the ball every game. Clearly has technical ability but is slow and weak, would suit the Spanish league.

Agreed. Never rated him and I doubt Moyes wants him.

Again - the likelihood of the reds doing us a good deal on Doak were slim to none. Was always a non-starter.

No. It isn't and never has been.

He's a no. 8, more similar to KDH than Gana by a long way.
