Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Surely now Dibling is a cert with Doak going and others.

A right back is another, but who do we go for?

I’m disappointed we didn’t go for Mcatee. I don’t know why but it seems everyone playing hard ball with us.

It is not the market at that price he becomes a top 10 most expensive teenager ever.. if you are putting someone in then top 10 that's not the market, it's an exception.

If a deal happens at that price, it won't take many windows at all for that to be a comparatively cheaper price for an U20 player. The only thing that's ever certain is that change is inevitable in expectations and reality.

...that's the market.
Indeed it is. There's a deal to be done and I envisage him signing before; the ball is in Southampton's court now.

Dibling has made his feelings clear, he wants the move; it's good that he's not "handed in a transfer request" (not that such a thing actually happens) as it shows he has some respect for his employers and reflects well on his personality.

It's mental. We don't have a player on the right who can cross the ball and we've just signed a 6'5" striker.
I guess I'm in the minority in thinking that we shouldn't just be lobbing balls into the area all game just because our two main strikers are tall?

He now have Ndiaye, KDH, Grealish & Alcaraz at the club - not to mention the likes of McNeil & Garner are capable of good footy from time to time. We should be looking to play our strikers in along the deck much more this season if you ask me.

We need to be able to do both. Everton teams should be fairly direct in my opinion - that's our identity. But we need to be flexible and able to play as well.
