Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Also - saw that Citizens of Suburbia chap on Twitter reckons that if we front up £45m for Dibling after the Grealish deal it could put us back into a dodgy spot with PSR? hopefully not like..

Saw that mate, was surprising and I like him as a skilled commentator he’s not the usual attention seeker.

If we do get Dibbling I think everything else will be nominal and non pulse raising loans.

We know that Moyes is a measure twice cut once manager when it comes to transfers
We know he gets more right than he gets wrong because he wants the right player instead of any player
We know we have money left to spend and we have 3 weeks to spend it.
Would have liked to e right side sorted by now but I am have confidence it will be sorted by August, with the right players

He's making such a claim without knowing how much the women's team has been sold for. There is also the possibility of selling Goodison as well. TFG can decide how much these assets are sold for, making PSR concerns redundant if they have the will to do so.

How were they going to achieve an unprecedented summer with no cash?

That and PSR...We would have to sell in January to add the players that Moyes needs now.

Our strategy seems to be knock the sellers price down far enough to meet our kitty and PSR commitments.

However the last 24 hours the entire dynamics of the window have been changed with the fees paid for players.

Silence seems to be the order of the day for now but injury and results will either be a trigger or release valve.

I’m sure there will be some hocus pocus done with the women’s team to ensure PSR won’t be an issue.
