Once again looked a lot better this half once Okoronkwo wasn't leading the line alone

You'd hope it's maybe a little bit of shop/loan window till September for the likes of him and Heath.

Subs made a big difference. Graham obviously, but also Beaumont-Clark and Van Schoor.

Graham with a fantastic double , very clinical first one very Lineker esq , second one very inchy like, great movement, Okoronko with a lovely ball, huge shoutout to Tamen at the back ,won everything such a dominant performance

Hopefully but the club are not showing his best side playing him as a lone 9. Out of contract next summer, so it's really sell or keep around at this stage.

Okoronkwo in particular has been invisible.
Heath has been lively but can’t seem to dictate anything from the midfield, not really making an impact.
I’m still not sold Clarke is ready to step up to this level. Obviously great physicality but some of the touches and decision making is like an ox.

What I’ve seen of Clarke for such a big lad he doesn’t like the hard stuff, bit like Dowell good footballer but doesn’t do enough off the ball and loses the ball too easily.

My biggest worry with him is his gait as he looks a very awkward runner for someone so direct and quick

Braiden stopped the “ Tait out” calls there , we really should be beating these teams more easily than we did tonight. Let’s hope Tamen gets the injury free run he deserves.

Is it possible he just had a knock though? As he was in the squad for the first (maybe 2nd?) pre-season friendly, in all the training vids, then just completely disappeared. Also wasn't in the squad vs the PFA players either. He could have just come back.

….there might be a perfectly valid reason. They might just be looking after him, he looks a little bit special.
