Like the Flags to mate have to admit.

I think wel see a remodeling of the ground at point over the years, have a sense if the TFG had their way it would be bigger they aren't looking at increasing the footprint not to make more money in my opinion and they are big on infrastructure. But id sit still for the next five years and let us bed in.
 
Re: the ‘clueless’ stewards doesn’t surprise me, I go to the Comic Cons run by Monopoly Events at the Exhibition Centre and, other than Monopoly’s own staff, a lot of them are external hires by ACC who either get overwhelmed so get confused or are there for a quick payday so aren’t particularly fussed which I suspect is what happened at the stadium yesterday

Felt sorry for the. Totally looked lost.
Only just thought about it but there didn't seem to be a big presence of police around the stadium?
Wasn't really looking out for them. But seen a few outside can't recall them after that.
 

If im honest, beautiful new ground aside, it was a shambles yesterday from start to finish. Every aspect of the actual ‘event’ was poor. I was blown away by the stadium but the business element was terrible

They got two weeks to sort it butthe food was basically the same (new blue,£6 doughnuts left everywhere) (don’t be a vegan/veggie) The queues were WoRSE than goodison and they ran out of beer! Few stewards, terrible counter staff, water pissing in through the roof (wasn’t raining), san Miguel machine broke, the directions to find your brick/stone were calamitous- thousands of fans wandering around staring at the floor- shocking

Yes it’s early days but many of these things are basics, it’s like we’ve just picked up the same format and dropped it in a new ground

On a positive, the ground is ridiculous - the most compact ground I ever been to, steep and amphitheater like - will be bouncing on a proper match day

Also, san Miguel on tap - win win
 
Probably been asked before but I’m hoping to bring the family up to watch the Fulham or West Ham game and then the women’s game at Goodison the next day.

Are there stadium tours available for both and where’s the safest place to buy a tickets?

Decided after over 35 years love affair with Goodison I couldn’t bring myself to sidle up to the new love of my life for a friendly or test event. Always had it in mind to wait for the proper opening.

Same sentiments from me, want to wait until Brighton game to get the full match day experience rather than friendly or test event. My two lads did go and their feedback was similar to many others I’ve read on here, we have a super venue we can call home but it will take a bit of time to get used to the new place, and this will include ironing out some of the opening day glitches over the next few weeks

This would be my main complaint about the stadium too. Doesn't bother me too much but it was a lot of extra steps for my Dad that we weren't expecting.

I'm hoping that for future games we aren't locked into going through turnstile 2 and therefore forced up the very soviet stairs.

Stadium tours at the HD start next month, don’t know if they’ll still have the Goodison one but they can be booked on the club’s website

The women’s game is your best bet at going to a game unless your a member as they don’t appear to be doing general sale on league games this season

Hospitality in the West stand upper,
Think it started about £2300 and went just over £3000 i think.
Prawn sandwich brigade it most definitely is not, just normal fans
