Agreed. And if we did, the reason we didn’t push further and meet their valuation is because he either made clear he didn’t fancy it, or was obviously waiting for a mythical CL club to approach. Neither of which is any use to us.

The next game is always the most important game.

I think everyone at Everton needs to be much less patient and show much more urgency. We've had to put up with some absolute rubbish for the last few years and everyone should be trying their hardest to get a good start this season.

RW should be the only priority IMO.

We are more than ‘make do’ in every other position (given how we set up with JO’B in that weird RB role).

Our right midfielder is currently McNeil or Alcaraz, which is as bad (maybe even worse) as those loan flops last season.
