I’ve mixed emotions on this.

I think it’s a great investment, feel the lad is going right to the top and will be an 80-100 mill footballer, you can see his quality from out space.

On the other hand, I don’t think he’s ready to start 40 odd games a season and typically for his age he’s boom and bust and we need players to make an impact now. I’m also assuming this is a significant part of our budget.

If we bring him in, I think we are going to bring in a Harrison type for experience/cover.

I think we need 2 wide players anyway

I’d expect 3/4 signings for good money 25-35 mill. (Not forgetting we also invested in Barry).
