Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

The fume is going to be legendary in here when we sign Jack Harrison again.
We are missing Jack Harrison
and Jack Harrison.
maybe we can convince Leeds to part with Harrison for £25m in January.

Can only imagine the targets we are in for, have all asked us to hangfire. Telling us they are willing to join if there are no better teams interested.
Otherwise there's really no excuse not to have gone to plan B.
If it wasn't for the Aznou transfer I'd have said they have no vision/ability of buying the up and coming players. You could say Barry is one, but we have paid a premium for him.
After all...kubo went to sociedad for 5 million.

These players not committing possibly because that want CL togger......

What about putting a clause in their contract to accept a bid from a CL team should it come in and we are not in a position to qualify for the CL the following season. We could set the amount to be a small % higher than we paid for them as long as it clears any other stipulations and leaves us benefiting slightly.

I'm sure its being looked at but its not a possibility that any of our urine soaked brethren have taken on board.

A Garner and Iroegbunam centre midfield doesn’t set the pulse racing either. I think that this point it’s less about setting the pulse racing and more about actually fielding a team that can compete against other Premier League teams.
The thing is - you can hold out for a Luiz AND sign a Brownhill. I doubt we get two top level midfielders so Brownhill ticks a lot of boxes for depth...but we certainly need at least 2 x signings in there.

Armstrong needs to play this year - in reality he would better off with another loan, Tim Iroegbunam just isn't up to standard for me, so I would cash in if we could.

I don't mind them holding out for a Grealish, Luiz and a top right winger, as they would obviously improve us massively...but we also need a few more experienced heads for this rebuild which we should be getting through the door before Leeds.

Again, thats what ive made as my point.

Youve quoted it yourself now lol

Moyes is responsible for recruitment and look at how hes behaving even after a player signs?

100%
Christ I can't believe I'm doing this - it's like arguing with a decision tree...

Ok, so here are the ZatFacts:

- David Moyes is SOLELY in charge of recruitment. IT IS ALL MOYES.
- "Players dont want to join... because the work has not been done on them to ascertain their interest"
- "Negative man-management" by Moyes

All quoting your posts.

And yet, Barry, Travers and Aznou are all on record as saying it was Moyes who sold the club to them and convinced them all to buy into the project and sign.

So your assertions above are proved wrong by the players he's hired.

Could I point out your inconsistency any clearer?

You're spinning so many plates to fend off so many opposing views to yours on here that you're losing track of what you've said.

Take a break mate.
