Liked the look of that Tamen.Tamen looks an absolute unit
Clarke has some lovely touches
Heath looks very composed
Armstrong is just a good player
Bit raw but that's to be expected

Few players going 90 minutes, unusual in the first game. (Keane, Iroegbunam, Tyrer, Patterson, McNeil)
Moyes was obviously moving Armstrong around - he was left midfield, 10 and then defensive midfield in the second half. Had a decent game.
McNeil and Garner are experienced PL players - would have liked to see more interest from them in the first half (like Keane for example). McNeil showed more when he was moved central for a bit in the second half.
He was dreadful tbh, passing was horrendous, but I looked him up and apparently he plays centre back so I guess he was out of position.Liked the look of that Tamen.

I think Heath and maybe even Clarke. You're not going to see any of these youngsters from August lads, stop pretending they will make a difference
Yeah looked good. Never heard his name mentioned though. Has he just stepped up to the 18s??I was impressed by Justin Clark in the eleven minute snippet of the match which I was able to watch. He seems unfazed by defenders and will try his best to create openings. Certainly somebody to monitor.
Fogive me for wanting better for our club. I want people who can actually analyse a game of football, tell how we can improve, tactical info.
Not these 2 jolly old friends making the most mind numbingly obvious statements known to man and insulting our intelligence.
Signed for the club in 2024 from AFC Wimbledon according to the official site’s match report.Yeah looked good. Never heard his name mentioned though. Has he just stepped up to the 18s??
I know it's fitness, but at what point will you realise that we have to get players to play in this friendly?
At this rate, anyone we get will be having their first start in october, just like every season
Harrison played def midfield for Derby, I’m not sure he is a 10 personally. Would like him in the Garner role.Of the young lads:
Armstrong (not even sure he’s classed as a young lad now!): pure quality. Should be in the first team squad this season sharing minutes in the number 10 role, he looked better there than deeper in the second half, but versatility to do both roles is also a bonus.
Heath: second best performer from the youngsters. Looked tricky out wide on the left and has a good turn of pace. Won the penalty for Beto by driving at the defender.
Clarke: Decent performance on the right wing coming in on his left foot. One lovely bit of skill on the edge of the box to tee up Heath for Patterson to shoot.
Tyrer: Comfortable game at GK, good with his feet, could do nothing for the goal.
Tamen: Quite frankly had a shocker at right back; mistimed tackles, misplaced passes, decision making in and out of possession was poor. One glimpse when he got forward late on, but not a good showing.
Metcalfe: Not enough time to really see what he could do.
Here’s my little ray of sunshine! Hope your well miso-citrus.Hopefully the match was used to put some of the garbage we have in the shop window for interested Championship/League One clubs.
