I don't think we'd be spending large sums on 2 centre mids.

If our money pot was excessive - which it is not plus PSR etc all theses linked players would have been signed by now ... plus if hey had been we would have broken PSR rules as the chosen few seem to be exempt - it really wants binning PSR

That area of the team needs reinforcing. If Luiz is initially a loan I could easily see us making one decent money signing. Boro will know Hackney will be going, wouldn’t be a massive fee. I could see that happening.

Moyes effectively has two midfielders he trusts completely in Garner and Gueye. One is 35. Who knows what he’s thinking for Armstrong and Iroegbunam. Either way we need at least one signing in there probably two or we’re into solutions like Alcaraz or McNeil moving deeper.

If he's available on loan. If he isn't, we aren't signing 2. Money needed elsewhere.
