Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

New long term contract for one of the best young defenders in the world, promising young midfielder signed on a permanent and one of the best young forwards in europe signed as well as new contract for a defensive mid with amazing stats that we was losing on a free.

All the above makes me think for once the ones making the decisions know what theyre doing and how to push us on so still very positive right now and trust what they’re doing. Starting RW and RB next couple weeks then the other players following over the following weeks and we will have had our best transfer window in so many years.

Think we just need to put the bedsheets on the line and prepare to ‘go with what we’ve got’

Or what we haven't got.

Its not really about what people do on here really.

Its about hard deadlines and how our new structure manages them and their impact.

For example our starting point is, we have in recent seasons had no money, couldn't bring in players any sooner as a result, which undermined the starts to seasons and early results and thus the season.

So if im managing this new process for the first time this summer - the above is my ground zero to improve on - we have resources - that opens up a bigger market and an ability to be able to close deals - therefore a direct objective - if the recruitment team does their job well and we get players in well- is the manager has to get good early results and a good start. Everyone i mention is accountable in that.

If im say Kinnear I'm setting three hard deadlines and reviews from here on in - 1. When we get on the plane to America, 2. The Roma game/start of the season and 3. The Transfer deadline. Recruitment objectives for all the management/recruitment team should be given and they are accountable for progress at each deadline. While the squad wont be closed of by the deadline and nor should it be - we should have most of the heavy lifting done by start of the season or we haven't improved on our starting point i mention above from recent seasons.

Having said all of the above I'm reasonably happy with start to the window, clarity around the contracts has been achieved, Charly has come in and Barry is a good investment. Im reasonably happy, that's a good start.

We need more of the same in each of the different phases of the window.

We need to judge this Everton and the ability of its management and recruitment team to a higher standard to the ones of the last five seasons and we need a better start to the season.

Here’s a name , please don’t give me dogs abuse, right wing , how a bout a cheeky very low bid For Raheem Stirling.
He’s Chelsea’s financial mess, I wouldn’t help them. He’s on about £275k a week so I doubt he’s going to accept any less and more importantly looks like he’s lost everything he ever had going for him as a footballer. Without his pace I doubt he’d get a game in the Championship now. Mad shout
