Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Absolutely mate...touch wood we come through the season pretty much unscathed.

Can't disagree with any of the above, the manager lives and dies by his decision.

One thing also told me is out budget may not be what we think it is.
Moyes has mentioned European qualification without saying it is what he expects or what's expected of him next season. It looks like the horse punchers and Forest are falling foul of UEFA's 80% squad cost rule this coming season, following Villa's and Chelsea sanctions this year. From the transfer committees point of view, with our tighter headroom until we know more accurately what the actual boost to revenues will be from the New Stadium and other ventures the owners are involved in; are we simply taking a more cautious approach, not necessarily by necessity though?

At drastically reduced wages which is why they didn’t stay and we knew they wouldn’t

I’d have kept Doucoure on if he halved his wage which is about what he was worth but he was never actually going to
My point is we were happy to keep the "deadwood", as you described them, under certain terms. Whereas you were describing them leaving, alongside a non-playing as some sort of masterful strategy by the club.
