It seems true. Di Marzio would hardly produce a sensational fake news like this if there is nothing true about it. It is at least partly true. Others have embraced the news and considered it true. It is clearly an "illegal" thing, but it seems that Friedkin spoke to UEFA and they probably allowed him to make these moves. We all know that UEFA is fundamentally corrupt, run by criminals since its inception.

Red bull and city do these things almost on a daily basis. Yet I'm not convinced. I'll believe it when I see it. Perhaps they have a broader arrangement in mind, and this is just a portion of that arrangement. But they stressed the two entities would be managed independently. In this case, the move would be at first clearly beneficial to one party only - Roma - with a profit for Everton next year. I read the loan with option or mandatory option to buy would give Everton a quick capital gain next year, when it could be useful to comply with ffp in case you enter a European competition.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a bit more movement then that - im not convinced we wont try and move some players contracted on.

What do you like about him?

Athletic and rangy. High stamina and engine, good blend of physical presence and technical control. Versatile - can play in all midfield spine positions. good positional awareness, great in the press, great movement off the ball, good close control at pace, comfortable playing in tight areas and breaking lines, high ceiling - very much a modern midfielder. Also willing to track back and contribute defensively if in the am role.

If they’re in the squad they’ll play at some point and they’re not good enough. Which games are so meaningless that Everton can afford to throw them away? We get injuries and these players become first choice. Everton are absolutely terrible at keeping players fit so it’s not a leap to say that they’ll be seeing game time.
