Well we will soon see. I expect "most" of our business to be done in July. Maybe a couple on deadline day but a frantic dash for signings then would be completely unacceptable.

We need numbers, and the right mix of potential + experience as we aren't getting anyone proven and at their peak.

I have an open mind about whats going to be spent as there are constraints imposed on us before we even start.

It's more the strategy and thought behind each signing that I'm looking for.

I'm gonna be bold and predict by Thursday next week we'll start getting credible intel from a reliable source that our first signing is coming in July 1st or shortly there after.

I doubt it'll be Barry, Woltemade or McAtee (if we are even in for the last two) as the U21 Euros only ends next weekend, so that'd probably rule them out.

My prediction is walker-peters, and then a big pi#&y knickers sesh on social media

Why do you think they will only now start working together to identify players?

They'll surely have had multiple conversations by now. The only chap who isnt joining yet isnt going to be directly working on transfers, unless were after kids from United

They will have been working on it since January, stepping up work once clearcwe weren't going down. We aren't going to to fall fowel of PSR by signing some before July. Hope a couple come in in the first week of July. But it's Everton we're taking about.

There were some tentative links at the start of May.

I asked some mates who are Wednesday fans (he was on loan there last season) about him. They said he was probably their best player last season. Defensive midfielder but could also play centre back

Was their player of the year mate, put up a big battle to keep him in Jan as Southampton wanted to recall him and send him on loan to Sheff Utd.
