Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Everton are just not attractive to these Free Agents compared to clubs like Marseille, I`m actually laughing at some of the suggestions, no way does Jack Grealish come to Everton, not a chance!

Forget Woltermade and Barry... they will have far better options. Moyes and Everton had a hard job but seeing the players I thought were gettable going elsewhere makes me think the job to rebuild this team is far harder than any of us anticipated. How does Everton convince players of good quality to come to Everton if we can`t offer what other clubs do and have been battling relegation for the last 3 seasons or so.

Obv due to PSR we won`t start signing players till 1st July, if there is any decent players to be had, we will have a better understanding then but I can see next season being a case of 10th to 13th. We will add players but I don`t think the ones we add will be sufficient to improve our standing, plus many might not settle in for the next 6 months....
You’ve spent the best part of 3 years telling everyone that we’re not as good as the likes of Leeds, Luton and Ipswich.
So forgive me for ignoring anything you have to say about how attractive we are to players.

Come on mate, a bit doomy surely - Ended the season very strongly, fantastic new stadium, new owners - I think we’re a pretty good proposition
It will all depend on what`s coming in.... being as we don`t even know what is happening with Keane or DCL yet what is the chances we sign actual good players in time for the season to start.

Dithering Dave is back... Moyes is a good manager but when transfers are involved they take weeks or months to complete.

So we can’t afford to buy anyone, but we will buy Tomas Soucek for £20m?
And Doak, that`s our budget! 😆

In terms of wages we are way off over 50% of the PL who have bigger revenues. We will be bottom half in terms of wages offered and less appealing to those clubs in Europe and even clubs that aren`t like Bournemouth and Brentford, maybe even Wolves, who will have massive cash from player sales!

Log off and go to bed.

Bournemouth and Brentford don’t have multiple players on ^100k wages. Don’t be silly.

Some on here saying we were getting Delap.... that didn`t happen despite some saying we were more attractive that any other club in for him, what does that say about those guys? Massively over egging the pull of Everton these days.... just because we are excited about the future it doesn`t mean the rest of the football world see it that way.

The saving on wages wont take affect until the next set of accounts, we paid them in this year...

The trouble is our revenues... we are small time in terms of revenue behind the SLY 6, Newcastle, West Ham, Villa, Brighton and Crystal Palace. It may change next season due to BMD but pretty much all of them teams have European Football so will get a revenue boost from that. We had the 12th highest revenue and finished 13th... it`ll be a long long time before Everton are fighting for trophies and the best players.

PSR made sure we won`t get back in amongst the big boys... bed wetters will say I`m being negative but this is modern day football.
Mad how palace and Brighton are earning more than us.
The only positive is that the new owners look to be right on it with regards to moving us forwards.
