Anyone else listen to that media Q&A thing Bobble did where he was talking about what we're doing with getting in a new no.9?

Some worrying things there - we don't believe we can attract a good quality no 9, Moyes really wants Calvert-Lewin to stay, Moyes is unsure on Beto, if Calvert-Lewin stays he will be our first choice with Beto scrapping it out with him, if we get a decent offer for Beto, he would be sold.

It's all so grim. What planet is Moyes on when it comes to strikers?! If we don't believe we can get a striker who can do much better than scrape double figures, why look to shift the one who can and keep the one who misses every one on one he gets?!

Actually wouldn't go into that much detail about it normally, but that thinking really worries me and plays into my long-gestating fear of Moyes and forwards!

I am like any other Everton fan first and foremost and do not deserve to be labelled crap like this.

Did anyone have a clue about Alcaraz before Flamengo went rogue? Absolutely not! It happens, that’s football! It’s impossible to know everything and I have never proclaimed to know everything. Hate me, dislike me, or maybe don’t like information being spoken about, I’m not bothered anymore, I’ve heard it all, but to suggest I am also a grifter is ridiculous.

I tweet a lot of stuff which is often correct, talk on an Everton channel and know some stuff within the football world. Don’t like it, that’s fine, but bullsh*t like this being put on forums is bang out of order.

I understand it's not easy but sometimes you just have to rise above stuff like that

You do this because you care and we all understand that. You've been lucky enough to get close to information and we all appreciate you sharing when you can.

Apologies if your feelings have been hurt with the language I’ve used and of course you are entitled to defend yourself. Can I ask who out of the staff I mentioned that you have personally met and talked to about how they feel about Beto?

From my perspective, he's never said anything that has turned out to be categorically wrong, so I trust his info. He's clearly a decent enough guy too. But there is a definite pile on mentality on here sometimes.

I think watching Beto as the season developed changed a lot of supporters opinions so seems entirely possible if caused a shift in Moyes opinion .

Beto looked a completely different player in a system that suited his abilities so it’s possible Moyes was more impressed than he had been . It did seem Moyes was furious after Beto failed to control the ball against city , so if he’s won him back after that he’s done well .

Last season only 6 teams had over 100 million net spend 7 if you count west ham at 98 , Brighton was at the top with over 200 million as they've had the surplus funds from prudent sales and being frugal in the past obviously. I think since we've made profits the last couple of seasons we should have a decent amount to spend, but I'm not financial expert and I'm not going to masquerade as one on here.
