Be interesting mate, we did the PSR shenanigans with Iroegbunam before July as well last year and if my memory is right sold Godfrey, we brought in I think between 22/25 mill.

It’s more logical if you can to do the deals in July, but the ammortisation is piecemeal given it’s a month.

I think the clever play from the club was to make our better players of the last few years, into squad players and progress the squad, build on existing strength, it’s a hard thing for some of those lads to accept in terms of role and wages - Young and The Duke have left the project, Keane and DCL in my opinion have to decide if they want to be fourth choice centre half and possibly a back up striker.

Every player that leaves though in my opinion, dilutes whatever resources we have available as it’s infinitely better keeping existing contracted players to build on then buying new ones.

Ideally I’d hoped we could bring 6/8 of the right quality.

Better then not being known at all and having to work your whole life, then if youre lucky you'll make it to retirement age where again if your lucky you'll have 10-15 years of living on the bread line with a crap pension and being abused by the same government youve spent your whole life paying for... but yeah football, hope we sign that kopite winger :dance:
