Clearly Kinnear had an excellent grasp of what's required and talks well. He and TFG need to back up all those good intentions and words with action.

No I know it was his statement,just hope it doesn't come back to haunt him. Maybe he means they'll just promote the entire Under 21 squad

I think he came across well. My only bugbear would be that he was a bit liberal with his use of 'world class' to describe things. Realistically (and I say this as a big fan of his) David Moyes isn't a 'world class' manager so it kind of dilutes the message a bit about how good we should expect other things to be when they're described the same way.

Yep...my thought too...I can see how he would have made an impact during the interview process. Not sure about the flat structure and no dof he is talking about...ultimately somebody has to make a decision and somebody has to be held accountable.

He's not wrong though. No matter how much money is spent, we need to bring 8-9 players in at minimum. That's not typical for a club that wasn't promoted or relegated the prior season.
