Don't think that argument holds water either. They have let a few players go that have gone on to perform. Frimpong, Rogers, Palmer to name just a few.

Perhaps Man City will be one of the biggest sellers this window - given their under-performance.

Nothing to do with how “rubbish” they are. If they aren’t working laying in the first team regularly then they are much more valuable in terms of PSR, especially if they have been at the club long/young enough to classify as home-grown.

We never replaced Gueye when he left for PSG. The only way we managed to replace him was by bringing him back! If he does leave then that's going to be the hardest position to fill.
