Sounds good hearty fare that mate.Made a slow cooker beef scotch broth, quite thick gravy wise and plenty of pearl barley. Made it with my 30 yr old slow cooker so low means low for 10 hours. Lovely with crusty bread and obscene amounts of butter.
That’s the one, thicker than Aldridge this one mate.Sounds good hearty fare that mate.
I like stuff like that so thick you could lay bricks with it.
The barley will help with that...vastly underrated is the old barley. That’s the one, thicker than Aldridge this one mate.

Bakery next door........... and people were flying in there.I went in and said ............ 2 of them. Tin foil wrapped hot dogs in the oven. Ketchup, mustard, sauerkraut and cheese melted over the top..............Oh and fried onions. Make them at home ever since in the oven xxNever had a frankfurter, what are they like ?
