Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

agreed, you can get 2 players from around europe with similar stats for less money than that, those are the kind of deals we need to do
Looking at the top 50 scorers in the European Leagues many are under 23s that cost their present clubs under 10 million. Obviously you have to factor in the strength of the league they play in but as all transfers are a gamble buying three young forwards for 10 each is a better bet than 30 for one from a relegated Prem team.

Sometimes it isn`t about trying to get every purchase right, sometimes it`s a numbers games where the aim is to get more hits than misses.

I can`t see why we wouldn`t buy Alcaraz, we`d easily make that back only being 22.... I rate the lad and hopefully he gets a chance to prove himself.

I understand some of the negativity regarding Harrison but you can't fault his work rate and maybe with a Moyes preseason under his belt he can improve his attacking output.

Having been at the Nottingham Forest game last month, he was every where and him and O'brien had a real good understanding interchanging and bosses the right hand side for the whole game.

If O'brien is to play right back or right of a back 3, it could be worth keeping Harrison in front/alongside him.

WE. DESERVE. MISERY.

£60 million for Mbeumo ? Good player but not at that price .
I wonder how much they would sell wissa for? Actually think he's an exceptional player too that has been consistent for several seasons might be able to get him at a more affordable price, it's crazy mbuemo and wissa's combined transfer price for Brentford was 14 million! Maybe we should try to do some savvy recruitment and find players before their value skyrockets but easier said then done

Need far more than just work rate to push up the table, doesnt do enough for me might had good game then but has had several poor games. With his age maybe 28 is he then the high wage he has been on. Just csnt see a good deal from it. Would argue 10 mill but then you have question can we do better looking at anothet and i think we can

Ohhhhh Kevin de Bruyne!
Thanks Dan
Tbf we’d be a good fit for him. He doesn’t want to move house and not playing champions league would reduce his workload giving him a better chance of avoiding injury.

His comments when coming back from the long term injury that he enjoyed doing school runs etc. I’m sure DM could sell that through.

So working hard is good enough now, that should be a given in today's game, how about a bit of pace ? The odd goal or maybe even an assist ? Wingers don't really have to do much in some people's eyes if you play for Everton.

Honestly wingers are meant to get you off your seat get you excited and we don’t even get any of that never mind goals and assists
