He is desperately short of confidence but in Serie A showed fantastic promise for his age.

Nobody and I mean nobody, left in that Scottish league is worth £20m of anyone’s money.

I was going to post that I agreed with you but that his age was against him and there was no resell value ......but I've just checked and he's only 25 ( must have had a tough job delivering newspapers when he was a kid ) so yes all that goes out of the window.....excellent signing and great value at £60 million

Mbeumo all day long got everything we have lacked since Kanchelkis. Strength, pace and goals a very good player.

As posted in the past few days, the DCL situation points to him extending.

Quoted in the BBC as saying "who wouldnt want to be part of that" with the new manager and stadium mentioned + him leading the line alone for 3 seasons.

Looks like we have our 2nd striker for next season.

I imagine we'll sell Beto and send Chermiti on loan in the summer + sign a 1st choice with a young player signed for development.

Mbeumo or Jack Harrison mmm now let me think. One lacks real pace, doesn't create much and might score once or twice a season. The other has pace to burn, creates chances and has an eye for a goal. Also takes a mean penalty, Jack Harrison it is then.
