6 + 2 Point Deductions

As player trading g is very much part and parcel of the whole financial aspect of things then the financial period should encompass the transfer periods. As said, clubs like us are going to receive crappy offers at end of June just to satisfy the accounts.
As well as that I'm baffled to understand how it's even legal to introduce the ffp and p&s rules without letting people/clubs know what the exact deductions/ramifications will be? Would clubs have still voted for this when you have clubs with money who can't spend, promoted teams who can't improve their squads and teams like us who haven't got much money?

Feels like it would be the end of the world but in reality it would probably be absolutely boss, like Leicester or Southampton this season.

Smashing teams left, right and centre and bringing that beautiful trophy back to the old lady for her finale.
Think of all those 3pm kick offs we’ll have! If we then drop down to League 1 we won’t have to suffer international breaks any more 👍

Hate what football has become. Each and every year sees the actual game increasingly sidelined for non sporting crap.
And people think it will be better with a regulatotor! Do p believe a regulator that almost will enforce rules both structiral and financial any better

Here’s what they will have powers over

  • Manage a system which requires every club in English football’s top five tiers to hold a license in order to actually run as a professional club.
  • Establish a fresh and ‘strengthened’ Owners’ and Directors’ test.
  • Introduce a mandatory, minimum level of fan engagement for clubs and require the approval of a majority of fans for any amendments to a club’s badge, name or home shirt colours.
  • Require clubs to not only ask for permission in order to sell or relocate their stadium but also show how they have consulted fans as part of the process.
  • Prohibit clubs from becoming part of breakaway or unlicensed leagues.
  • Have the ability to preserve financial sustainability via the redistribution of broadcast income (as a last resort).
  • Create a mandatory ‘Football Club Corporate Governance Code’. Accordingly, football clubs will need to report each year on corporate governance, establishing how they implement the Code’s principles and why this is appropriate for their state of affairs.
The rules currently in place , love the, or hate them , are voted on and agreed by the clubs . Rule changes in the PL are deemed under the leagues A&M to be special resolutions so to comply with company law need a 75% majority of those shareholder (21 =the 20 clubs+ 1 FA)

You say this like its a bad thing, but I guess for the likes of Chelsea et al it is.

Overall an independent regulator will have its plusses and conversely there will be tough rules in place, so SHOULD promote an even playing filed rather than the one the scab 6 have been used to!

Seem like rules for the many - not just the few, of which Chelsea is one.

I’m all for those rules being enforced fairly across every club in the league rather than just the selected non-establishment clubs it’s currently for tbh.
