When Did The Rot Set In?

Our devil worshipping neighbours had the common sense to keep protests towards hicks and Gillette separate from how they got behind the men on the pitch...
Strictly speaking, our devil worshipping neighbours would have hounded a Kenwright out of their club the moment he sold their once-in-a-generation superstar to Man Utd for 25 million and then thrown him under the bus. Let alone another 19 years of lies and dross. They might be entitled idiots living in their Mother's spare room but they just don't stand for being treated like mugs.

They were a bunch of entitled arl gits who thought that sulking in the stands made them better than everyone else in there. Actively snarled out teenagers and anyone else who wanted a bit of atmosphere. Wasn't allowed. Cheering for bilyaletdinov? Means you've got no ambition that, cause hes not fit to wear the shirt. Because we were good in the 80s, so we have to sulk now in 2010.
Absolute helmets, played a massive part in destroying us.
If they snarled out teenagers the teenagers that I know and knew would have snarled right back at them, Kenwright is the main man when the downfall of Everton is debated and it’s all in black and white the lies and deceit he used to stay in power rather than release the club to other people and buyers.

We did snarl back at them, and they didn't like that at all. Killed the atmosphere entirely though and was the root of all this no true toffee culture. Funny how they come on here crying about a lack of fan unity that they caused.

By turning Goodison from a fortress into a limp whine holder, at a time when we were coming 7th every year. Can't imagine why noone who could have take us to the next level wanted to come and play for us...

No, it wasn't. Not until a bunch of sad old men with swinging jaws started consistently getting into rows with teenagers for cheering when we got a corner.

Just dont like us going after fans saying blue uinion was blame for this, or fans not stepping up to join in to get kenwright ect out earlier. For me we all kno what we have to do now is stick together as fans and demand changes at the top level at this club.
Yes that is absolutely true now because most people know who has caused the downfall of Everton, The Blue Union knew all those years ago and tried to do something about it.

it was lad you used to be able to hear people talking and everything ,some games where boss like but 90 per cent of the time it was shabite , to me though if you where a teenager or in ye twenty’s back then and all
you knew was everton being crap under johnson etc no wonder a lot of younger fans didn’t agree with the blue union when we were doin well in the league. But if some ming in his 40s who’s seen everton win the league etc stood up and clapped kenwrights face on the screen then i blame them for this decline

Their aim was to get rid of Kenwright and the way he ran the club and if more people had backed them instead of deriding them we might of got got rid of him sooner and I assume you do want rid of Kenwright and his hand picked cronies.

Thank you for this strong opinion friend.

Well I was younger than anyone whos seen us win the league so there's every chance my memories are much less clear than yours, but as I recall there was no blue on blue hostility until the blue union came about. Perhaps it wasn't as loud as I remember it, but it was definitely unified.

As I said earlier, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Their methods were crass buffoonery and made our fanbase change for the worse overall. You dont win people to your side by spitting at 13 year olds and calling them kopites.
