Just had a mosey at some old photos of Goodison. This is from 1938, nary any outside signage about the club. I don't know when exactly the outside of the ground became more heavily advertised.

It's an Everton/International football/rugby stadium.
They told us that it'd be a fortress....then they opened it and told us that it's a 'facility for the whole of the city'.
